K Studio is led by our CREATIVE Director, Kate Piastowicz.
She's a nature enthusiast with an engineering edge, a total plant fanatic, and an artist obsessed with colour and texture in the world around her.
Kate's got a Master of Landscape Architecture and a Bachelor of Visual Arts under her belt, showing off her love for blending art with the great outdoors.
Her path into landscape architecture has been an exciting journey, driven by her fascination with aesthetics, art, and the harmonious connection between humans and nature.
While still a student, she ardently supported projects aimed at making our towns and cities greener, transforming urban spaces into flourishing habitats. Her dedication was recognised with several honours, including the esteemed Best School Garden Design Award in the Lublin District in 2008, for a Primary School Garden in Ozarow Village inspired by "The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe"
In her second year of study, Kate began designing gardens for clients, eventually leading design teams at various garden and landscape companies in Poland and the UK. Additionally, she served as a consultant for natural environments and sustainable development in spatial planning.
In 2019, Kate established K Studio—a practice committed to sustainable, holistic, and purposeful landscape design that fosters a deep connection between people and their surroundings.
For over two decades, Kate has crafted numerous stunning outdoor spaces, with her passion for linking people to nature remaining as vibrant as ever.
Breaking new ground means more than digging gardens—it’s about reimagining what’s possible.
